October 2023

The month of October started with a Lecture at the Harold Washington College (HWC) in downtown Chicago. HWC is one of the seven city colleges associated with the city of Chicago Chicago City Colleges.
I was invited to give a lecture in one of the Biology classes by my colleague from ITR Prof. Farah Movahedzadeh who teaches at this institution. It is always a pleasure to introduce to the new generations of students the origins of macromolecular structural biology, particularly as it relates to the achievements and legacy of one of its most prominent pioneers Rosalind E. Franklin (1920-1958).
